I am here to explain why I voted that I never shot a starling: I never bothered to waste lead on them. (Though I do shoot at targets, hah-hah) I have shot a dove before. And I did eat it after it was cooked. ( I was worried I would get grossed out, but I didn't).
Woah Rea!, I think you haven't read my page, "Intro. to Staring Hunting":)! There are quite a few reasons to "waste lead" on Starlings! I try to keep target shooting just for zeroing in my scope.
